New Markets Tax Credit Portfolio Analyst
As Portfolio Analyst for MBS Urban Initiatives CDE, Ms. Kamau manages compliance for the active portfolio of Qualified Low-Income Community Investments loans made by the CDE through the New Market Tax Credit (NMTC) program. She works with Qualified Low-Income Community Businesses (QALICBs) to manage and analyze semi-annual certifications, financial statements, and reporting and helps to prepare MBS Urban Initiatives’ reports to the Department of Treasury, including AMIS and investor reporting.
