Darryl Vandever Joins McCormack Baron
McCormack Baron Salazar (MBS) is pleased to announce that Darryl Vandever has joined the firm as Vice President, Planning and Design. As Vice President, Planning
and Design, Vandever will oversee the design activities of individual projects from inception through financial closing. He also will work closely with external design teams and internal project management teams at the beginning of each project, through master planning, and into the design phase.
Vandever will solicit proposals and contracting for master planning, architectural, and engineering consultants required for each project. He also will review and analyze the proposed designs and the various reports from consultants and act as a liaison regarding this information within the MBS organization.
“Darryl has a tremendous amount of depth in both the initial design and ongoing construction management of many different product types,” said Jerry Stone, Senior Vice President and Director of Design and Construction, McCormack Baron Salazar. “We are very excited to add his insight and historical knowledge as we continue to develop a best-in-class product.”
Vandever comes to MBS from the architectural firm Hastings and Chivetta, where he was Contract Administrator. Prior to Hastings and Chivetta, Vandever worked at The DESCO Group as Project Manager for Construction and Design. In this role, he was responsible for construction project management of commercial real estate development projects. Prior to The DESCO Group, Vandever worked at Trivers Associates as Contract Administration Manager.
