McCormack Baron Companies announce the addition of David Nargang as President of McCormack Baron Management

ST. LOUIS –David Nargang has joined the McCormack Baron Companies as President of McCormack Baron Management, McCormack Baron Companies announced today. Nargang has more than 20 years of property management experience in market rate and affordable multi-family housing. He joined McCormack Baron Management from NRP Group, a vertically integrated developer, owner, builder, and manager of multi-family housing, where he served as Senior Regional Vice President for Texas, with a portfolio of 9,300 units. In addition to a deep understanding of the regulatory compliance needs for affordable and mixed-income housing, Nargang has special expertise in bridging the communications between design, construction and lease-up.

As President of McCormack Baron Management, Nargang will have full profit-and-loss responsibility for McCormack Baron Management and will oversee daily operations of the more than 23,000-unit portfolio, located across 267 properties. He will provide strategic leadership and direction for the company and will work to establish long-range goals, strategies, plans and policies to enable McCormack Baron Management and the McCormack Baron Companies to function more efficiently and fulfill the firm’s mission of transforming places into communities where all people can thrive.

Nargang said his initial goals are to develop leadership talent internally, to continue to improve and find innovative ways to meet the needs of residents, and to make a positive and meaningful impact in the communities the company serves.

Nargang holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Houston and is a Certified Apartment Portfolio Supervisor of the National Apartment Association. He currently is based in Houston and will, in the near term, work remotely from Houston and St. Louis until he and his family relocate fully to St. Louis.
