McCormack Baron Salazar names Pam Askew Senior Vice President of Development
McCormack Baron Salazar is pleased to announce that Pam Askew has been hired as Senior Vice President of Development. Askew will oversee company projects in multiple markets around the country.

Askew has more than 28 years’ of experience in affordable housing and finance. Her experience includes project management, relationship management, workforce development, strategic planning, contract negotiations and public and government relations.
As Senior Vice President of Development, Askew will manage all aspects of the development process, including leveraging and securing project financing and coordinating a diverse team of specialists, consultants, investors, stakeholders and public officials.
Prior to joining McCormack Baron Salazar, Askew served as Senior Vice President at WC Smith, one of the largest developers in the District of Columbia, where she led the Affordable Housing Development Team.
Askew holds a Master of Science degree in Real Estate from Johns Hopkins University with a concentration in Finance and Housing Development. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Urban Studies from the University of Maryland with a concentration in Economics and Community Development.
