McCormack Baron Salazar announces new development team members.
McCormack Baron Salazar is pleased to announce that several new team members have joined the McCormack Baron Salazar Development Team to support the company’s growth as a leading, national mixed-income housing developer.

Sasha-Gaye Angus has joined as a Senior Vice President overseeing development projects in the mid-Atlantic region. Prior to joining McCormack Baron Salazar, Ms. Angus was a Vice President at the Michaels Development Company. In 2015, Affordable Housing Finance recognized Ms. Angus as a leading Young Leader in the industry.
Sandra Martin Seals is also a Senior Vice President with oversight of development projects primarily in Florida and in the United States Virgin Islands. Prior to joining McCormack Baron Salazar, Ms. Seals was acquisitions manager at National Equity Fund, Inc. and Vice President of Reliance Housing Foundation, Inc.
LaShunda Gonzalez, Senior Vice President, comes to McCormack Baron Salazar from Preservation of Affordable Housing (POAH), where she was the Choice Neighborhood Director for the Woodlawn Choice Neighborhood in Chicago. Ms. Gonzalez will support development projects across the country, with a focus on mixed-income, mixed-finance communities.
J. Keith Brown joins as a Vice President of Business Development. With extensive experience in impactful real estate development, including business analysis, project feasibility, and transit-oriented and affordable development, Mr. Brown will lead the business development division to continue to build the company’s pipeline strategically.
Trace Shaughnessy, Vice President, will manage several key development projects, including the Dayton Arcade redevelopment in Dayton, OH. Mr. Shaughnessy is the founder and principal of Shaughnessy Development, LLC, a mixed-use and multi-family developer in the St. Louis area, with a deep experience in urban transformation, including housing, historic rehabilitation, and mixed-use projects.
In addition to these executive-level positions, Lindsey Evans, LEED AP BD+C, has joined the company as a Project Manager supporting the Pittsburgh Choice Neighborhood. AJ Cesena and Sarah Rose have also joined as Associate Project Managers.
