Think Dayton (Digital Transformation Center) is a five-story, 120,000-square-foot digital education and workforce training facility located within the OnMain Innovation Hub in Dayton, Ohio. The project anchors the redevelopment of a long-vacant site in a severely distressed community and supports the growth of the region’s digital economy.

Think Dayton expands access to industry-aligned STEM education and workforce training for low-income and non-traditional learners, serving more than 500 students and trainees annually, the majority of whom are low-income. Think Dayton is expected to create and retain more than 160 permanent jobs offering living wages and benefits and to support approximately 160 paid internship opportunities, strengthening inclusive pathways into high-growth technology careers.

The project was made possible through a $8.5 million New Markets Tax Credit (NMTC) investment from MBS Urban Initiatives CDE, which was leveraged with $8 million in allocation from Dayton Citywide development, $7.23 million from Urban Action Community Development and $5 million from Capital One Community Renewal Fund.  Capital One is the investor.

Think Dayton strengthens the regional digital economy, expands access to high-growth technology careers for low-income residents, and supports long-term, inclusive economic development in the City of Dayton.
