In November, Mike Duffy, Senior Vice President of Finance at McCormack Baron Salazar, served on a panel of industry experts at Affordable Housing Finance magazine’s national conference: “AHF Live: Affordable Housing Developers' Summit.”

The panel, “Construction Financing for All Markets” covered the latest rates and terms of construction loans and discussed what types of deals lenders find attractive now and in the future.  Other panelists included Mahesh Aiyer of Sterling Bank, Todd Sears of Herman & Kittle Properties, Inc. and Edward J. Sigler from the Chase Community Development Banking Group.  Mr. Duffy’s panel presentation focused on some unique construction financing challenges regarding McCormack Baron Salazar’s Transit-Oriented Development, McArthur Park, which is currently under construction in Los Angeles.
