McCormack Baron Salazar Director of Sustainability, William Carson, co-presents at National Association of Housing and Redevelopment Officials Conference

Oct 23 2011 in Corporate News

McCormack Baron Salazar Vice President & Director of Sustainability William Carson, LEED AP BD+C, was a co-presenter with other industry experts at two sessions of the 2011 Conference of National Association of Housing and Redevelopment Officials (NAHRO) held in St. Louis, MO on October 23-25, 2011.

In the first session, panelists led participants through all stages of developing green and energy efficient communities, including stakeholder engagement, architectural and engineering design, and certification.

The second session focused on how two St. Louis area developments--MBS's Renaissance Place at Grand and the East St. Louis Housing Authority's Church Lane Gardens--have used LEED-ND to advance a green Triple-Bottom-Line:  social benefits, environmental benefits and financial benefits.
