McCormack Baron Salazar Vice President & Director of Sustainability William Carson, LEED AP BD+C was a co-presenter at the October 20, 2011 Conference of the American Planning Association-Missouri Chapter.

The panel discussion, entitled "Which Sustainable Rating System is Best for You?" discussed the many sustainable / green rating systems developed for parks, community and neighborhood plans, streetscapes and roadways, greenways, transit, and campuses.  The panel gave guidance on choosing the correct rating system, focusing on Sustainable Sites, LEED for Neighborhood Development, GreenLITES, Greenroads, STARS and Enterprise Green Communities.  Co-presenters included Hunter Beckham, RLA, ASLA, Principal, SWT Design; and Stephen Ibendahl, RLA, ASLA, Sustainability Planner, Southwestern Illinois Resource Conservation & Development
