TV Station Showcases McCormack Baron Salazar's St. Louis Solar Installations

Sep 08 2011 in Corporate News

A St. Louis TV station ran a story about McCormack Baron Salazar's sustainable development efforts at Renaissance Place, focusing on the energy- and cost-saving benefits of a large-scale solar panel installation project there.

The story from CBS affiliate KMOV notes how the solar panels save up to 25 percent in energy costs for Renaissance Place and earn the development credits from the local power company when the solar panels return unused power to the city's electrical grid for use elsewhere.

The story also quotes Sunwheel Energy Partners COO Mike Steinbaum discussing the benefits of solar power and noting how solar can be effective in cities like St. Louis that lie outside areas typically known for sunshine such asĀ  Florida, California and Arizona.
