Emily Baron Bernstein honored as a St. Louis 40 under 40

Vice President Emily Baron Bernstein is one of St. Louis' 2019 40 under 40 honorees. As a Vice President of Project Management, Ms. Bernstein leads a diverse team of professionals to implement mixed-income, mixed-use, transformative projects. She is responsible for leveraging and securing project financing and coordinating public and private partners, including community residents and stakeholders.

Ms. Bernstein's current portfolio includes the Near North Side Choice Neighborhood in St. Louis and the South City Choice Neighborhood in Memphis. Both efforts are large, multi-phase revitalization efforts led by strong public-private-community partnerships.

Since 2012, Ms. Bernstein's developments have directly resulted in the creation of 913 residential units and 66,000 sf of commercial space with total investments of $235 million. In 2018, her projects represented 17% of all McCormack Baron Salazar's financial closings.
