McCormack Baron Salazar Vice President Ron Roberts Honored as a St. Louis Everyday Hero

Verizon Wireless, the Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis, Inc and 100 Black Men of Metropolitan St. Louis honored McCormack Baron Salazar Vice President, Ron Roberts, as one of their five “Everyday Heroes” at a reception on March 15, 2012.

The Everyday Heroes program is aimed at recognizing unsung heroes who make a difference in St. Louis and who touch the lives of others.   Everyday Heroes include teachers, mentors, volunteers, clergy and professionals who give of their time and resources in creative ways to affect change—either in the life of an individual, family, school or community.

Ron Roberts, Vice President of New Business and Project Management for McCormack Baron Salazar, was honored as the Hero in the Business/Technology category.  Ron was recognized for his work in several mentoring programs and by mentoring with individuals to become real estate developers.  Mr. Roberts is currently the lead project manager for the North Sarah development in St. Louis, MO and for the Arlington Grove Neighborhood development in St. Louis, MO, which was awarded funding in 2009 under the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s competitive ARRA 2009 Green Communities Program.  He served as the project manager for Senior Living at Cambridge Heights, a 117-unit, universally-designed senior building in St. Louis, MO.
