Community Renewal Development, Inc. recognizes McCormack Baron Salazar COO, Vince Bennett with a Corporate Citizenship Award

In the summer of 2011, McCormack Baron Salazar Chief Operating Officer, Vince Bennett, was selected to receive a corporate citizenship award from Community Renewal Development, Inc. of St. Louis. Mr. Bennett and McCormack Baron Salazar were selected to receive this honor because of their continued efforts to redevelop and enhance St. Louis’ 5th Ward.  In recent years, McCormack Baron Salazar’s activities in the 5th Ward include building a 117-unit senior living facility (Senior Living at Cambridge Heights), installing solar panels on two affordable housing developments and completing a complete energy efficiency retrofit on another housing development.

Future projects in the 5th Ward include the development and construction of a $10 million Early Childhood Education facility in the center of the Murphy Park community.

McCormack Baron Salazar Vice President, Ron Roberts, attended the award ceremony on August 13, 2011 and accepted the award on behalf of Vince Bennett and McCormack Baron Salazar.
