Mary Kellers, Vice President-Project Management

Ms. Kellers has over 20 years of experience in the field of community and housing development. In her current position as Vice President-Project Management, Ms. Kellers is primarily responsible for the implementation of mixed-income and mixed-use projects, securing funding from public and private sources, coordinating with finance, design, construction and legal teams and managing relationships with external partners and community stakeholders.

Ms. Kellers was the lead project manager for the Bedford HOPE VI phases two and three revitalization effort and The Legacy, an affordable senior housing project in Pittsburgh. Ms. Kellers’ responsibilities included securing project financing, public approvals, MWBE and Section 3 hiring requirements, project scheduling and budgeting. These development efforts resulted in over 300 units of rental and for-sale housing totaling over $72 million dollars of investment. She is currently involved in the redevelopment planning for the 125 acre Southside neighborhood in Durham, North Carolina.

Prior to joining the firm Ms. Kellers had served as the project manager for another HOPE VI development that involved the transformation of hundreds of deteriorated public housing units with a newly constructed mixed-finance development. Ms. Kellers has experience with rehabilitation, new construction, mixed-use, and single and multi-family affordable housing development.

Over the past several years Ms. Kellers has worked with and for non-profit organizations throughout the Pittsburgh area in both a professional and volunteer capacity. Ms. Kellers holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from Rhode Island College and a Master of Management and Public Policy degree from Carnegie Mellon University.
