Julie Williams, Capital Events Coordinator

Ms. Williams manages and coordinates all capital events for McCormack Baron Salazar, including initial construction/financial closings, capital contributions and conversions.  She ensures that all capital events occur on target and in accordance with all governing legal requirements.  She reviews closing documents for consistency and accuracy, coordinates the collection/distribution of due diligence, and ensures that documents are prepared and reviewed effectively.  As a member of the Finance team, she acts as a communication liaison between internal departments/senior executives and external legal teams, investors, and project partners.

Ms. Williams was instrumental in the closings for Tremont Pointe I and II (a HOPE VI and one of the first affordable housing developments in the U.S. to be awarded the Enterprise Green Communities Criteria Certification) in Cleveland, OH, the Valentine Apartments (award-winning historic rehab) in Kansas City, MO, and, in St. Louis, MO, the Big Brothers Big Sisters building (mixed-use/art space project utilizing New Market Tax Credits), 6 North (the first development in the U.S. to incorporate 100% universal design and has since served as a model across the country for other developers and architectural studies alike), the Brewery Apartments, Washington Apartments and Allen Market Lane (all historic rehabs with complex/phased relocation requirements), and the Westin Hotel ($90 million/255-room historic rehab at Cupples Station). Prior to taking the lead on all financial closings, for five years she served as an assistant project manager.

In 2005, Ms. Williams served on a FOCUS St. Louis Workforce Housing Task Force and helped to create a report that led to the creation of St. Louis’ Affordable Workforce Housing Association.  Prior to joining McCormack Baron Salazar, Ms. Williams worked as the Corporate Customer Relations Manager and Fleet Administrator for Enterprise Rent-a-Car’s St. Louis-based corporate headquarters and was the Marketing Director for Ambassador Courier, a St. Louis-based courier company.
