Becky Foster, Manager, Project Finance
Ms. Foster has over 25 years of experience in the field of housing development and finance. As a Project Manager, Ms. Foster oversaw the first phase of the development of Fairfield, a 124-unit mixed-income revitalization effort in Pittsburgh, PA, managing all phases of the development process including financing, public approvals, acquisition, MWBE and Section 3 hiring requirements, project scheduling, and budgeting. More recently, as a consultant to MBS, she has developed feasible financial plans for the second phase of Fairfield, West Park in Tulsa, OK, and for the Southside Revitalization in Durham, NC and she has been involved in the refinancing of several projects held in the McCormack Baron Asset Management portfolio.
Ms. Foster worked for non-profit and for-profit developers of affordable and mixed income housing prior to working with the firm. She guided neighborhood planning efforts and secured Federal, State, foundation, and local financing for senior as well as family housing. She also served as the Director of Housing for the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh, which administered home ownership, home improvement, and housing development programs.
Ms. Foster holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Wesleyan University and a Master of Regional Planning degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
