Claudia Brodie, Senior Vice President

During her 25+ year tenure with the company, Ms. Brodie has been involved in property management, development and marketing activities, as well as grant and proposal writing efforts. She currently coordinates with McCormack Baron Ragan and other divisions on both pre-development and development activities in order to create policies that will effectively facilitate community revitalization. Ms. Brodie also works with several community-based organizations on property management issues.

Her varying positions in the company, since 1980, have included development and marketing activities, grant writing and direct property management. Management efforts have included the establishment of management operations in new cities for newly developed properties and takeover of existing management operations. In addition, Ms. Brodie’s experience includes ongoing involvement in HOPE VI or mixed-finance communities. This involvement includes pre-development negotiations with government and resident groups, interim management of public housing site during relocation efforts as well as the actual monitoring activities.

Ms. Brodie is a member of the Missouri and the Illinois Bar Associations, the Metropolitan St. Louis Bar Association, is an Advisory Council Chair of Family Haven – A Community In Partnership Program for the Salvation Army and past president of the St. Louis Apartment Association.

Ms. Brodie holds a Bachelor’s in Economics from Washington University in St. Louis and received her J.D. from St. Louis University School of Law.
