Accounting staff includes Certified Public Accountants (CPAs) and Staff Accountants who have experience with federal housing programs, mixed-finance programs, bond programs and LIHTC requirements. A staff accountant is assigned to oversee the partnership statements and work with the ownership entity and the site operations staff to create and maintain a comprehensive working knowledge of each property.  It is through this interaction that the accounting staff routinely respond to the financial reporting requirements of the multiple financial instruments including equity, private debt and public investment.





Kim Hartman

Controller

Ms. Hartmann is responsible for maintaining the organization's financial integrity and preparing financial analyses including interim and final financial statements for management. She is also responsible for the company financial plans and policies, accounting practices, internal controls, relationships with lending institutions, maintenance of fiscal records, cash management and the preparation of financial reports and tax returns. Her position supervises the general accounting, development accounting and budgetary controls departments of the organization.

Ms. Hartmann has more than fifteen years of experience in accounting. Prior to joining McCormack Baron Salazar, Ms. Hartmann was a manager at a regional public accounting firm where she specialized in real estate. She is a licensed Certified Public Accountant as well as a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Missouri Society of Certified Public Accountants. Ms. Hartmann holds a Bachelor's degree in accounting from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville.
