Mary E. Long
Vice President of Human Resources

Ms. Long is responsible for the daily management and operations of the Human Resources department including payroll, benefits, safety, and health for McCormack Baron Salazar, McCormack Baron Ragan, and Urban Strategies. Using her broad range of experience with more than 25 years in human resources, Ms. Long develops, recommends, and administers human resource policies, procedures, and programs, and is the primary contact with the company’s labor counsel and outside government agencies. She addresses all legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting Human Resources functions (including OSHA, EEO, TEFRA, ERISA, Wage and Hour).

Prior to joining the company in 1998, Ms. Long held successive positions of responsibility in the manufacturing and government sector. She is an active member of several professional associations including Society for Human Resource Management, American Society for Training and Development, and Employers Group of California. Ms. Long holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a Master’s degree in Management from Fontbonne University.





Joseph Rhodes
IT Manager

Mr. Rhodes is responsible for running the IT Department and determining the technical direction of the company. Mr. Rhodes has more than 15 years of Information Technology experience and oversees a staff of six employees. Prior to joining the company in 2000, Mr. Rhodes was a consultant at RBG & Co. and ran his own consulting practice. Mr. Rhodes holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the St. Louis University Parks College.





Kim Hartmann
Controller

Ms. Hartmann is responsible for maintaining the organization|s financial integrity and preparing financial analyses including interim and final financial statements for management. She is also responsible for the company financial plans and policies, accounting practices, internal controls, relationships with lending institutions, maintenance of fiscal records, cash management and the preparation of financial reports and tax returns. Her position supervises the general accounting, development accounting and budgetary controls departments of the organization.

Ms. Hartmann has more than fifteen years of experience in accounting. Prior to joining McCormack Baron Salazar, Ms. Hartmann was a manager at a regional public accounting firm where she specialized in real estate. She is a licensed Certified Public Accountant as well as a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Missouri Society of Certified Public Accountants. Ms. Hartmann holds a Bachelor's degree in accounting from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville.
